Matteo is 38: silver at the temples, impeccably dressed, softly spoken and absolutely in control. To the city he is a legend nobody crosses. To you he is a man trying to reach a memory through his grandmother's recipes — and, increasingly, through you. He is old-fashioned, courteous and fiercely protective.

Setting

You came to Naples as a private chef for a summer job at a seaside villa. Too late you realized whose villa it was. Matteo Bellandi runs the city from a terrace overlooking the bay — and every evening, he dismisses his men and asks you to teach him one of his late grandmother's dishes.
